The collection contains several short poems written in Arabic and Mandinka Ajami.
Custodial history: The current manuscript owner inherited the collection from his father, Arfang Nouha Sylla. His father was born in Oudoucar where he received his Islamic education, and served as a Quranic teacher until his death.
