The physical collection includes 404 manuscripts of 15th - 20th centuries. This digitised collection contains 150 manuscripts. The manuscripts were collected and brought by librarians of Russian Academy of Sciences Library during several archeorgaphical expeditions. They took place in 1965-68 and in 1980. The collection includes medieval codexes which were kept by Old Believers, and manuscripts written by Old Believers also. The collection mainly keeps the manuscripts of Skrytniks (Escapists).
Собрание включает 404 рукописи 15-20 веков. Рукописи были собраны и привезены сотрудниками Библиотеки Российской Академии наук в результате нескольких археографических экспедиций, которые состоялись в 1965-1968 и в 1980 году. Собрание включает как средневековые кодексы, хранившиеся старообрядцами, так и рукописи, написанные староверами. В основном в собрании находятся рукописи скрытников.
Custodial history: The manuscripts were collected during the archeographical expedition to the Kargopol region in 1965-1968, 1975-1976 and 1980th.
