Notes: From Ibrahim to his father, lieutenantKurkun-Shaban (قُرْقُنْ شعبان), In a letter, the author informs his father thathe went to Tlenserukh (a rural communities, during the Caucasian war which werepart of the Shamil’s Imamate, now the Charodinsky district of Dagestan) andexhorted their inhabitants to refuse and not follow Muridism (Shamil’s ideologyagainst Russian Empier). And the residents reported that they were afraid ofthe retaliatory actions of the Shamil’s followers.
