The book contains information on the registration and division of the community of Sahuayo; a census of the community of Jiquilpan; and appointment of the Land Division Committee of Santa Inés, La Laguneta and Potrero de Herrera. It includes correspondence, petitions, and censuses. The volume consists of 146 folios, which have been bound together and numbered. It is loosely organized chronologically. The volume shows some deterioration, with some individual folios in poor condition.
