Libro de Hijuelas del Distrito de Zamora, Núm. 14

The book contains information on property titles in El Fuerte; land invasions and payment of tax contributions in Tlazazalca; division of lands in Tarecuaro, Tanaquillo, Etúcuaro, and Ocumicho; and the composition of lands in Carapan. It includes correspondence, census records, reports, petitions, and receipts, as well as sketch maps of Etúcuaro and the boundaries between Ocumicho and Patamban. The volume consists of 239 folios, which have been bound together and numbered. Documents relating to specific communities and/or processes are loosely grouped together and roughly organized according to date. The volume shows some deterioration, with some individual folios in poor condition.
