A monthly published journal deticated to Rabindranath Tagore's thoughts and Philosophy. Aurthors like Rathindranath Tagore, Abanindranath Tagore, Prof. Kshitimonan Sen etc. were enlisted as author of the Journal time to time. It published articles on a wide range of issues including languages, social sciences, translation studies, social work, rural reconstruction, music, performance, education and science and writings on the philosophy of Rabindranath Tagore. To publish the unpublished works of Rabindranath was one of the main aim of this journal indeed. Custodial history: Sadharan Brahmo Samaj was established in year of 1878. The Brahmo Samaj literally means the society of the worshippers of the One True God. Brahmo Samaj or religion is an intellectual as well as socio-religious reformation movement started by Raja Ram Mohan Roy as Adi Brahmo Samaj and later successfully carried out by Devendranath Tagore. Sadharan Brahmo Samaj inherited these philosophy with more devotion towards society. The library of Sadharan Brahmo Samaj was founded in 1879. This library is having a collection of over 25,000 rare books and periodicals mainly for periods covering 1850 to 1950. The collection mainly on subjects of History, Philosophy, Theology and Religion. An ideal place for researchers on relevant subjects and for students and enthusiast on History.
