This Dharmaśāstric text which deals with Hindu astrological believes is a part of author’s encyclopaedic work, Smṛtitattva that is divided into 28 sections each of which bear the appellation Tattva. The first page of the first folio consists of the end of a text called Śuddhidīpikā by Śrīnivāsa that has eight adhyāyas, the final one of which is Yātrānirṇaya. The 22nd folio is torn; Complete / Incomplete: Complete MS; Place of composition: Bengal; Date of copying: 18th day of the month of Agrahāyaṇa. Custodial history: One of the oldest libraries in the Hooghly district. Sisir Bani Mandir was established at Guptipara in 1917. The library has a good collection of old Sanskrit and Bengali manuscripts and some rare books in different languages. Cuncura Bartabaha is one of the rarest collections of the library. Administrative context: The CSSSC, on realising the importance of copying the collection applied for a grant to the EAP against which EAP921 has been awarded. Calendar: Common Calendar.
