This text is a Mahākāvya style poetry composed by Bhaṭṭi, divided into 22 cantos. The other name of this text is Rāvaṇavadha. Folios before 74 are missing. The text found in this ms begins by the end of the eighth canto. Folios 82, 85, 86, 88-98, 101, 129, 135, 137, 144, 147, 154, 155, 158, 160, 178, 181, 182, 184, 185, 193 are missing; Complete / Incomplete: Incomplete MS; Date of copying: Śaka 1782, Sana (Bengali era) 1267, Iṃ (CE) 1860-61, on the 22nd day of the month of Phālguna. Custodial history: One of the oldest libraries in the Hooghly district. Sisir Bani Mandir was established at Guptipara in 1917. The library has a good collection of old Sanskrit and Bengali manuscripts and some rare books in different languages. Cuncura Bartabaha is one of the rarest collections of the library. Administrative context: The CSSSC, on realising the importance of copying the collection applied for a grant to the EAP against which EAP921 has been awarded. Calendar: Common Calendar.
