It is a Dharmaśāstric text which deals with religious purification. This book is a part of author’s encyclopaedic work, Smṛtitattva that is divided into 28 sections each of which bear the appellation Tattva. The first 2½ folios are just a list of contents. There are two folios paginated as 103. The scribe mentions that he completed writing of this text for his own reading at the mutt of Śrīlakṣmīkāntanyāyabhūṣaṇa Bhaṭṭācārya at night; Complete / Incomplete: Complete text; Place of composition: Bengal; Date of copying: Not mentioned. Custodial history: One of the oldest libraries in the Hooghly district. Sisir Bani Mandir was established at Guptipara in 1917. The library has a good collection of old Sanskrit and Bengali manuscripts and some rare books in different languages. Cuncura Bartabaha is one of the rarest collections of the library.
