Bāṇeśvara was from Guptipāṛā (Guptipallī) became sequentially the court-poet of Krishna Chandra of Nabadwip, Chitrasen of Burdwan [Bardhaman], Nawab Alivardi Khan and Naba Krishna Deb of Shobhabazar. The manuscript is a modern notebook. The scribe wrote on one side of the pages. The first text is seven-act play called Candrābhiṣeka. The second text is a hymn to Hanumat in 55 verses. It begins on page 100. It contains an introduction and translation by Rāmacaraṇa Cakravartin. This text was copied from the 2nd issue of the 20th year (Āśvina, 1374 Bengali Era = 1967 CE) of a monthly magazine called ‘Devayāna’ (pp. 89-108).; Complete / Incomplete: Complete MS; Place of composition: Guptipallī, Bengal; Date of copying: Not mentioned, after 1967. The library has a good collection of old Sanskrit and Bengali manuscripts and some rare books in different languages. Cuncura Bartabaha is one of the rarest collections of the library.
