A textbook on Sanskrit verse. This book contained different kinds of Sanskrit verses with detailed notes, translations and explanations of each couplets in Bengali. The verses are mostly related with Krishna, the deity of the Vaisnava sect. Custodial history: One of the oldest libraries in the Hooghly district. Sisir Bani Mandir was established at Guptipara in 1917. The library has a good collection of old Sanskrit and Bengali manuscripts and some rare books in different languages.
