The Bhamini-vilasa is divided into four chapters, each called vilasa, and containing about a hundred verses(in the manner of a sataka).The first, anyokti-vilasa,contains allegorical(anyokti) stanzas about life in general (niti).The second, srngara-vilasa, contains love poems.The third, karuna-vilasa, contains laments mourning the death of the beautiful lady (Bhamini).The fourth, santa-vilasa, contains verses on renunciation(vairagya). Custodial history: Established in the year of 1961 this library is a memorial house of Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar, a well known educationist and social reformer of British India. Birsingha is the birthplace of Vidyasagar. Many books are found which Vidyasagar used to read and gave a foot note on the book pages. Apart from this many manuscripts are also found. They provide all the facilities which can be possible for a rural library to its readers or members.
