It is a translation of The Dhammapada. The Dhammapada is one of the main Buddist scripture. This vast publication is very important to Buddhist community to spread Buddha's canon with the help of popularity of English language worldwide. Custodial history: The Bauddha Dharmankure Sabha (Bengal Buddhist Association) was founded in the year 1892 by the Most Ven’ble Kripasaran Mahasthavir to work for the revival and regeneration of Buddhism in the land of its birth. This association has an eronmous collection of some rare and precious books, journals, specially they have an extra-ordinary collection regarding Buddhist literature and philosophy in Bengali. The institution has generously allowed the archive team to get access to this material for digitization and as per the copyright rules and regulations.
