Mission Tapal Book. 1854-1856

Letter book containing sundry letters and notes of the missionaries in various parts of the Jaffna district, such as Batticotta and Manepy. It was probably circulated among the missionaries as a cheaper method of communication than the post. Some of the contributors are by mission printer Thomas Burnell (?-?), E.P. Hastings (?-1890), Nathan L. Lord (1821-1868), Benjamin C. Meigs (1789-1862), M.D. Sanders (?-?), and John C. Smith (1812-1884).
