Some of the reports are signed by missinoaryes like E.P. Hastings (?-1890), and Levi Spaulding (1791-1873), and mission assistant Thomas P. Hunt (?-?). The reports contain usual details on education, funds, church members, number of baptisms, attendance numbers of congregations, books bought and sold, and contributions of the Jaffna Native Education Society.
