The manuscript contains materials for polemics amongbetween communities led by Maksim Vasilievich Belosludtsev [Максим Васильевич Белослудцев] and Vasiliy the monk. The polemics concerned the questions of permissibility of self-baptism, food “from the world” and reading the books published in non-Old Believers print shops and led to a split of the Tomsk-Chulym community in the early 1990s.
