Paper: 1) Russian machine-made paper with an unidentified stamp (f. 120) (under impression print), 2) blank-book paper, 3) school notebook. The manuscript is written in half-uncial script by several hands and has Cyrillic numeric pagination (scribers’). Decoration: headings and initials with red inks; 2 miniature pictures (painted with a nib pen, colored pencils): a picture of two birds on a tree growing in a pot (f. 100) and the guardian angel (f. 101 was backed); head-pieces with floral ornament (f. 1, 2, 5, 6, 45, 57, 59, 62, 64, 75, 80, 81, 85, 87, 103, 114, 128); head-pieces with manufactured paper stickers (f. 64); initials with floral ornament (f. 1, 2, 5, 6, 10, 13, 14, 17, 19, 22, 32, 34, 41, 45, 47, 50, 51, 54-57, 59, 61, 62, 64, 69, 70, 73, 75, 77, 78, 80-82, 85, 87, 98, 103, 105, 108, 110, 126, 129, 131, 133, 136, 140); end-pieces with floral ornament (f. 45, 56, 62); end-piece with using manufactured paper stickers (f. 64); end-piece in the so-called style Playing Text [игра текстом] – triangle-shaped objects (f. 6, 88, 127).

The manuscript contains service for Jesus Christ - a liturgical work attributed to Theoktistos the Stoudite, a Byzantine hymnographer and hagiographer of the 14th century (body text), memorial service and canons for the departed, church hymns dedicated to the Mother of God and the icon “Joy of All Who Sorrow” and Saint Nicholas and description of conducting the baptismal service of an Old Believer-Pilgrim. Binding: 2nd half of the 18th century, wooden binding, leather with tooling (the binding was made in an unknown Old believer printing house), fragments of 2 clasps. Some reader’s notes and textile bookmarks glued to the folio margins. Enclosures: 1) a recipe of the tincture of Viburnum against opisthorchiasis 2) “Prayer after dinner” [Молитва после ужина], 3) a spiritual poem “Tongue” [Язык]. Manuscript-sammelband is compiled from texts written in 1950s - 1970s.

8º, size of book block – 175 mm x 111 mm, binding size - 193 mm x 114 mm, binding height– 30 mm. 3 enclosures: Enclosure #1 – 1 f. (100 mm x 170 mm), Enclosure #2 – 1 f. (202 mm x 170 mm), Enclosure #3 – 1 f. (202 mm x 142 mm); 153 f. 3 f. (enclosure); Condition: satisfactory. The manuscript was composed in community of Old believers-pilgrims living in the Tomsk-Chulym taiga. The manuscript has traces of old restoration (folios were glued up). Restoration date – 4th quarter of the 20th century, place of restoration – Tomsk Chulym Taiga Skit.
