Decoration: headings and initials with colored inks, head-pieces with schematic ornament (f. 88, 116); initial with floral ornament (f. 22); end-piece in the so-called style Playing Text [игра текстом] – triangle-shaped objects (f. 6, 20, 79, 88, 101). The manuscript has 3 groups of texts: 1) descriptions of the following sacraments: proclamation, baptism, confession and burial service accepted among the Orthodox monasteries, with homilies for monks and the Lenten prayer (The Prayer of Righteous Ephrem) attributed to Saint Ephrem the Syrian; 2) Canons for the dead and hymns in honor of the Mother of God; 3) the “Skit Repentance” [Скитское покаяние] (text is used both as monks’ self-confession and as a repentance cell prayer). Binding: 1st half of the 20th century, wooden binding, artificial leather. Author's corrections, reader’s notes and bookmarks. Enclosure: description of the baptismal service of an Old Believer-Pilgrim. Manuscript-sammelband is compiled from texts written in 1st half of the 20th century.
