யூகிமுனி பாடல் - நாடி அலங்காரம்

Title in original script: யூகிமுனி பாடல் - நாடி அலங்காரம் The manuscript is made of a text, incomplete, composed of palm leaves numbered from 1 to 40, on which 90 verses are inscribed. The manuscript is in excellent condition. The text, entitled Yūkimuṇi Pātal - Nāti Alaṅkāram, deals with pulse reading (nāṭi pārttal). It explains how pulses are constituted, the appropriate places where they are examined, the method to read them and to interpret frequency and duration of each pulse. The text describes the diverse types of pulses and their variations according to the disorders, including fatal diseases. It presents the ten types of pulses (taca nāṭi) and the clinical characteristics (kuṇam) of the following pulse: cūtaka vāyu nāṭi, keṟpa nāṭi, mātaviṭāyāṉavaḷ nāṭi, vīkkattiṉ nāṭi, pūta nāṭi, malai cakkaratiṉ nāṭi, mātirai kuṟi, vāta nāṭi, pitta nāṭi, vāta pitta nāṭi, vāta cilēttuma nāti, pitta vāta nāti, pitta cilēttuma nāṭi, cilēttuma vātam, nāṭi piṉṉal and acātiya nāṭi kuṇam. Size of the manuscript: 26.0cm x 3.2cm. The text, incomplete, is numbered from 1 to 40 with Malayali numerals. The manuscriptis in excellent condition.
