The manuscript is in average condition; the 44 first leaves have been partly damaged by rodents. Text 1- The text is incomplete; it contains 92 of 123 leaves, whose the number is visible only on the half of the leaves which are not broken. The text, written in prose, deals mostly with medicated oils (eṇṇai). On one hand, it exposes the preparation of different types of eṇṇey: Uḷḷi āmaṇakku eṇṇey, Ciraṅku eṇṇey, Periya cantaṉāti eṇṇey and Acaṇa vilvāti eṇṇey. In the second hand, it mentions the use of medicated oils for a range of diseases and troubles: gastric ulcer (kuņmanōy); abdominal colic (vayiṟu katuppu, vayiṟu vali) or dysentry (mūla kirāni, catura kirāni); fistula (pavuttiram); food poisoning; and also gynaecological disorders (curōṇitam); insanity (paittiyam); eczema (karappaṉ); myalgia (kai kāl cūlai); growths (tuņmāṅkicam); night blindness (mālai kaṇ) and fever related to ulcerated wound (vippuruti curam). Additionnally, it gives the preparation of other medical products: Ēlāti cūraṇam and Vāyu caṅkāra cūraṇam; Piramēka ney and Pūcaṇi ney; Nāka centūram; Nica kuḷikai; Kuḷikai pāṭṭu; Velveṅkāyam and Cūriya vaippu puṭam. Text 2- The text is incomplete; it contains only 15 of the 38 leaves. Written in prose, it describes medicated oils (eṇṇey) used for bone setting (in varma practice). The oils mentioned aim at treating vacavu (muscular spasms), muṟivu (fractured bone) and vali (pain). Size of the manuscript: 26.6cm x 3.4cm. Text 1: the 44 first leaves are damaged by rodents. Due to this, the numbers of the first 36 leaves are not visible. The leaves are then numbered from 64 to 123 (last leaf). Some leaves are missing: 67; 83; 103; 115 and 117. There are two leaves numbered 118, Text 2: the leaves are numbered from 24 to 38; the first one are missing. There are two blank leaves.
