Title in original script: தலைப்பு இல்லை (மருந்து செய்முறைகள்) The manuscript is in form of notebook. The manner it was written, very similar to that on palm leaf manuscripts, testifies that its author used to write on palm leaf manuscripts. This kind of booklet may be considered as a writing material intermediary between palm leaves and contemporary notebook. It contain numerous of texts more and less long (between 1 and 110 folios), corresponding to personal medical notes of the author of the manuscript. The booklet is in good condition, but the paper sheets were broken or breakable at the place of binding which was removed for facilitating the digitisation. The medical notes concern preparations of mostly complex medicines: Dried plant powders: Karuṅkōḻi cūraṇam. Medicated oils: Karuṅkōḻi tailam. Medicated butters: Turucu veṉṉai. Electuaries: Makā vallāti ilēkiyam. Waxy medicines: Iliṅkam meḻuku, Vīra meḻuku (many number of methods), Kantaka meḻuku, Iraca meḻuku and Nanti meḻuku. Pills: Pūra kaṭṭu māttirai and Kānta kulāntakaḷ māttirai, White calcined medicines based on metal and minerals: Iliṅkam paṟpam, Iraca paṟpam, Vīra paṟpam, Mirutārciṅki paṟpam, Veḷvāṅka paṟpam, Tirivaṅka paṟpam, Nāka paṟpam, Kantaka paṟpam, Veḷḷai pāṣāṇa paṟpam, Kauri pāṣāṇa paṟpam, Veḷḷi paṟpam, Māṇikka paṟpam, Nimiḷai paṟpam, Taṅka paṟpam, Tāmīra paṟpam, Pūraṇa canrōtayam parpam and Tāḷaka paṟpam; Iraca kaṟpūra cuṉṉam, Cāra cuṉṉam, Karuvaṅka cuṉṉam and Iraca cuṉṉam. Red calcined medicines based on metal and minerals: Cātiliṅkam centūram, Vīra centūram, Kāṭikāra centūram, Nāka centūram, Pañcākkiṉi centūram, Citta makarattuvam aya centūram, Urukku centūram, Kānta centūram, Aya vīra centūram, Aya kānta centūram, Taṅka centūram, Cempu toṭṭi centūram, Tāmīra centūram, Tirivikkirama centūram, Caṇṭa mārutam centuram, Kāṭikāra caṇṭa mārutam centuram and Appiraka centūram. Stone-like medicines: Iliṅkam kaṭṭu (many methods) and Tāḷaka kaṭṭu. Medicines regarded as the most efficient: Turucu Kuru. Medicines obtained by sublimation: Vaṅka iraca pataṅkam and Vīra pataṅkam. Size of the notebook: 16,5cm x 11,0 x 4,0cm. The notebook contains 16 texts written on sheets of paper numbered from 1 to 1087. Each text are separed by blank sheets of paper among them many have not been digitised. The state of the book note is good; many paper sheets were repaired before re-binding them.
