Title in original script: அகத்தியர் சூத்திரம் The manuscript is composed of a text containing 22 palm leaves numbered between 18 and 82. The manuscript, partly bitten, is in bad condition. The text is presented as an abridgement of the text entitled Akattiyar Cūttiram. It presents formulations of medicines: Dry plant powders: Koṭuvēli cūraṇam Medicated ghī: Catāvari kirutam Calcined white medicine prepared from metals and minerals: Kārīya paṟpam, Veṅkala paṟpam, Pittaḷai paṟpam, Kalnār paṟpam, Maṇṭūra paṟpam, Añcaṉakkal paṟpam, Cātiliṅka paṟpam, Pavaḷa paṟpam and Poṉṉāṅkaṇṇi paṟpam It describes medicines (not named; maruntu) for treating diseases caused by pitta imbalance, dysentery (kirāṇi), flatulence (vāyu), piles (mūlam), types of indigestion (manta vāyu, uppicam), vomiting (vānti), pus discharge from ears (kātil cī pāytal), hiccup (vikkal), morbid thirst (tākam), burning micturation (nīr kaṭuppu) and jaundice (kāmālai), and an medicated oil (tailam) and decoction (kaṣāyam) treating diverse diseases (pala rōkaṅkaḷ). Size of the manuscript: 21,4cm x 2,8cm. The text is composed of 22 palm leaves numbered: 18, 29-32, 37-39, 42; 48, 67, 68 and 73-82. The leaves have been partly bitten by rodents and are slightly damaged by larvae.
