They are written in prose. The manuscript is in good condition although the leaves are stained by fungus and mould caused by sandal water sprinkled during the rituals (pūja). Text 1: The text, entitled Cōtiṭa Kalañciyam, is composed of 22 leaves without numbering which deal with astrology. The text presents the stellar influence in zodiac signs, names of planets, the general astrological prediction for each month according to the star and names of individuals, prediction according stellar influence to lend and borrow money, auspicious days to start work below the soil such as ploughing, harvesting roots, digging a well, ideal days to start a new work and the influence of Saturn according to its position at birth on the state of the neck and foot of individuals. A note mentions that the text was written by a person called Tāvitu Kutumpam. Text 2: The text entitled Rāci Ariccuvaṭi is formed of 10 palm leaves without numbering. The text lists the names of 12 zodiac signs and of stars with their pictorial representations. It explains the way to analyse the matching of a couple according their respective stars. Text 3: The text is formed of 11 leaves coming from various manuscripts. The text presents a yantiram to mesmerise (vaciya cakkaram). It describes the method to worship Aṭṭa Vairavaṉ and the cittarkaḷ. In the second hand, it informs on medicines (maruntu) for treating scrotal swelling (aṇṭavāyu, viraivātam), a disease due to imbalance of vāta (pāricavāyu), and medicated fumes (pukai) for annihilating poison of scorpion stings (tēḷ kaṭi), of centipede (puṭaiyāṉ kaṭi) and snakes (pāmpu kaṭi) and treating dog bites (nāy kaṭi). Size of the manuscript: 17.5cm x 3.3cm. The palm leaves of the texts are not numbered. Text 1 has 22 leaves, text 2, 10 leaves and the text 3, 11 leaves. A blank leaf is placed at the beginning of the text. The manuscript is in good condition although the leaves are stained by fungus and mould caused by sandal water sprinkled during the rituals (pūja).
