Title in original script: தலைப்பு இல்லை (மந்திரம் மற்றும் யந்திரம்) The manuscript is composed of short texts separated by blank leaves. Its palm leaves are numbered from 1 and 59, from 103 to 159 (leaves 104, 105, 107, 128-142, 144, 145, 151-153 and 156 are missing) and from 50 to 53. The numerous blank leaves indicate that the manuscript was in construction. Its state is excellent. The texts present numerous mantiraṅkaḷ and some yantiraṅkaḷ. The mantiraṅkaḷ which are mentioned aim to invoke the goddesses Carasvati (Sanskrit, Sarasvati) and Kāḷi, and the gods Puvaṉaiyār (Civaṉ), Murukaṉ and Smcāṉa Ruttiraṉ, to praise (vacikaram) the gods Pañcākṣaram (Civaṉ) and Cupramaṇiya (Murukaṉ). It explains the method to perform magic by using card game (cīṭṭu vittai), to be acquitted (veṟṟi aṭaiya) in murder cases (kolai vaḻa). It explains mantiram to ward off fear (payam teḷiya) in children and also to neutralise (nīṅka) the curse (cāpam) sent by ninety millions of cittarkaḷ (navakōṭi cittar). The text mentions the way to identify medicinal plants serving to mesmerise people (vacīkara mūlikai) and to perform the eight magical actions (aṣṭa karma), and also to bind sublimated mercury (kaṭuvāy vālai). The association’s mantiram-yantiram presented in the text serve to invoke the malevolent deities Moṭṭaiyāṉ, Vīṭṭtumāṭan and Vairavaṉ, and to control (eval) the demon (Cāttāṉ). A mantiram-yantiram is used to treat menorrahagia (perumpāṭu), and another to purify mercuric chloride (vīram). Additionally, the text present yantiraṅkaḷ used to ward off the evil spirits (picācu oṭi pōka), and to immobilise (kaṭṭu) sorcerers who manipulate malevolent spirits (picācu). It presents cyclic pictures (cakkara yantiram) to invoke the gods Cuṭalai Māṭaṉ (southern Tamil deity), Ruttiraṉ (Sanskrit, Rudra) and Citamparam (Civaṉ), the goddess Carasvati and the seven planets (navakirakam). Size of the manuscript: 9.5cm x 3.4cm. The palm leaves are numbered from 1 and 59, from 103 to 159 (leaves 104, 105, 107, 128-142, 144, 145, 151-153 and 156 are missing) and from 50 to 53. The leaves 1 to 4, 16, 17, 35 to 37, 41 to 52, 55 to 57, 103, 106, 108, 113, 114, 127, 128 and 53 are blank. The state of the manuscript is excellent.
