Title in original script: தலைப்பு இல்லை (மருந்து செய்முறை) The manuscript is composed of a text containing 24 palm leaves. It is in extremely bad condition, very damaged by rodents. The text is a compilation of leaves, quite often without numbering, comprising more than 1500 verses related to diverse matter of Siddha medicine. The first and last leaves are missing and the numbering of verses is not in order. The verse n° 493 mentions the name ‘Pulattiyaṉe kēḷ’, which means ‘hear to me, Pulattiyar’, Pulattiyar being one of the names of Akkatiyar. The text describes formulations of medicinal products such as Caṇṭamārutam and Āṉanta vairavaṉ and also the preparation of Cīntil ney for reducing intense itching (pēy cori). It informs on medicines to treat intestinal disorders (kuṭal vātam), and on plants to treat gastritis (kuṉmam), flatus (kuṭal piraṭṭal) and all types of convulsions (carva vali). The text explains the process of purification of metal and mineral products such as magnet (kāntam), iron (arappoṭi), red orpiment (maṉocilai), mica (appirakam), selenite (cilācattu) and elippāṣāṇa (not identified), as well as of the plant, Croton tiglium (nērvāḷam). It explains also the process of disintegration of metals (lōka māraṇam). The text informs also on the examination of pulse (nāṭi pārttal) and on the characteristic features of the humour vāta (vātattiṉ kuṇam). Size of the manuscript: 30.0cm x 3.5cm. The text is composed of palm leaves numbered in Tamil from1 to 24; and two leaves placed at the beginning and end of the manuscript. The manuscript is bad condition, very damaged by rodents which bit many numbers of leaves.
