Title in original script: தலைப்பு இல்லை (மருந்து செய்முறை) The manuscript is composed of a text of 113 palm leaves, ordered according to the verses numbered between 12 and 1496; many verses are missing. The manuscript is extremely fragile and darkened by fungus infestation; numerous leaves are broken. The text by Akattiyar specifies no title, but its content would suggest that it is Akattiyar Vaittiyam. It describes preparation of medicines and indicates the quantity of raw materials, posology and the diseases they treat. The medicines mentioned are: Kantaka kaṣāyam; Cūlai kantaka tailam, Aḻiñcil vēr tailam and Kaṭal nurai tailam; Turucu lēkiyam and Kāmakēcari; Kaṇṭaṅkāri ney, Acuvakanti ney, Poṉ mucuṭṭai ney, Nāyuruvi ney and Cīntil ney; Āṉanta vaṭi, Pūta vairavaṉ, Mutirai vairavaṉ and Kutirai vairavaṉ; Vaṅka paṟpam and Raca paṟpam; Vaṅka centūram and Kānta centūram; and the medicated fumigation, Kantaka pukai, as well as medicines (maruntu; not named) for treating anaemia (pāṇṭu), ascitis (nīrāmai), delirium (caṉṉi), 20 types of urinary tract infection (mēkam 20), cough (irumal), eczema (karappāṉ) and a type of skin eruptions extremely invasive (cilanti). The text specifies the medicinal use of five not identified roots (pañcavēr) for treating malignant growths (kiranti) and skin diseases (kuṭṭam) are mentioned. Size of the manuscript: 30.5cm x 3.4cm. The text is formed by 113 palm leaves numbered from 1 to 126. As numerou leaves are broken and have no longer their number, the ordering was based on verses numbered from 10 to 1496. The condition of the manuscript is very bad; in addition to the broken leaves, it is extremely fragile and darkened by fungus infestation.
