Title in original script: தலைப்பு இல்லை (மருந்து செய்முறைகள்) The manuscript is a part of a bundle of palm leaves which was constituted of two sets of leaves of different size. Despite their common subject, preparation of medicines, the sets have been separated and classified MSS2A and MSS2B. The manuscript is in very bad state. The leaves darken by fungus infestation are extremely friable. The set MSS2A is composed of a text of palm leaves numbered from 7 to 68; the leaves 1-6, 9, 11, 14, 21 and 22 are missing and two leaves are numbered 67. The formulations, written in verses, specified in this text are: Kāya lēkiyam; Apraka centūram, Kānta centūram, Lōka centūram and Pañcalōka centūram; Raca paṟpam; Tāḷaka nīṟu, as well as medicines (maruntu; not named) for treating dysentery (kirāṇi), beetle sting (vaṇṭu kaṭi), eye diseases (kaṇ viyāti), flatus (āṉanta vāyu), menorrhagia (perumpāṭu), tuberculosis (kācam) and an medicated oil (tailam) for diseases caused by vāta imbalance. Size of the manuscript: 24.0cm x 3.4cm. The palm leaves are numbered from 7 to 68; the leaves 1-6; 9; 11; 14; 21-22 are missing and there are two leaves numbered 67. The state of the manuscript is extremely bad. All the leaves are dark and are fragments, extremely difficult to manupulate because of their fragility caused by fungus infestation.
