Title in original script: தலைப்பு இல்லை (பிராமணர்களின் விதி) The manuscript is composed of a text containing 5 palm leaves and of 9 blank leaves. The text is written in prose in Grantha scripts. The condition of the manuscript is excellent. The two first leaves of the text describe the ceremony of upākarma which concerns the change of the brahmanical thread which has to be performed every year on a particular day. Upākarma is performed in order to ward off sin caused by wrong uttering of the Veda-s and to purify the soul. The three other leaves describe the ceremony of pañcagavya, which consists to absorb the five products of the cow (urine, milk, ghee, curd and dung) for purifying the body and soul. The method to perform these two ceremonies is presented specifically for the Vaiṣṇava Brahmins. Size of the manuscript: 15.3cm x 3.7cm. The manuscript contains a text of 5 palm leaves among them 2 are numbered 2 and 3, and 9 blank leaves. Its condition is excellent.
