Title in original script: மருந்து செய்முறைகள் The manuscript is composed of two texts, written in prose, attributed to Akattiyar. The texts deal with preparation of medicines. The manuscript is in average condition as ,any leaves are broken. Text 1 - This text consists of 38 palm leaves numbered from 73 to 117; the leaves 105 to 110 and 114 are missing. It details the formulations of following medicines : Pittu ney, Tacamūla ney, Tippili ney, Pūcaṇi ney, Cīntil ney, Kaṭaicci ney, Kaṇṭaṅkāri ney, Rāṭcāti tailam, Mūkūttu tailam, Mulaipāl tailam, komparakku tailam, Navacāra tailam, Kalliyāņi kiṟutam, Muyal kiṟutam, Pūṉai kiṟutam, Poṉṉāvārai kiṟutam, Tuṟuvāti kiṟutam, Paṭṭai racayaṇam, Nāvi kuḷikai as well as formulations of an oil (eṇṇey) for treating headache (talaivali) and oils (tailam) for treating a disease related to vāta imbalance called curiya vāta. Text 2- This text consists of 14 palm leaves numbered from 187 to 200. It deals diseases caused by bad karma. The formulation of medicines exposed in the text are: Cittira vallāti tailam, Iṭi vallāti ney, as well as medicines for treating skin diseases. Size of the manuscript: 33cm x 2,5cm. The palm leaves are numbered from 73 to 117 (leaves 105 to 110 and 114 are missing) and from 187 to 200. The manuscript is in average condition. Many leaves are broken but the reading is not affected.
