Title in original script: இராமதேவர் கருக்கிடை சூத்திரம்- 300 The manuscript contains an incomplete text entitled Rāmatēvar Karukiṭai Cūttiram- 300 formed of 70 palm leaves numbered from 1 to 56 and 107 to 120 (the leaf 114 is blank). This text deals with preparation of medicine as well as iatrochemical processes. The remedies which are exposed are: Kalluppu tailam (medicated oil); Appiraka centūram and Ayakānta centūram (red medicinal powder); Taṅka paṟpam, Cūta paṟpam and Ayamāṅkica kal paṟpam (calcinated medicinal powder) ; Kaṇtaka meḻuku (wax-like medicine); Cāra cuṇṇam, Turucu cuṇṇam and Kalluppu cuṇṇam (alkalin highly calcinated medicinal products), Kariyuppu kaṭṭu, Cātiliṅka kaṭṭu, Pācāṇa kaṭṭu, Cūta kaṭṭu and Karuvaṅka kaṭṭu (stone-like medicine); Cūta pataṅkam (medicinal product obtained by sublimation). The iatrochemical processes concern the preparation of bead of copper sulphate (turicu kuru); a pungent liquid obtained from salt (uppu ceyanīr); a small bowl of magnetite (kānta kiṇṇam); soap stone (cavukāra vaippu); combination of iron and copper (ayacempu), the use of fullers earth (kuruvaḻalai) and the purification of copper (tāmira cutti). Additionally, the text explain some various skills such as those for treating poison bites (viṣa vittai), for using hedge hog (muḷḷeli) in medicine, for handling bow and arrow or for meditating or concentrating to the centre i.e. the point between the eyebrows. Size of the manuscript 22,7cm x 2,5cm. The palm leaves of the text are numbered in Tamil and Arabic from 1 to 120; the leaves 57-106 are missing; the leaf 114 is blank and the first leaf corresponds to the text's name. The palm leaves are infested by fungus; some are slightly broken.
