Title in original script: நாடி விபரம் மற்றும் மருந்து செய்முறைகள் The manuscript contains a text of 30 palm leaves and 3 additional leaves among them one is blank. The text, written both in verses and prose, describes imbalance of the humours: vāta nāṭi, pitta nāṭi, cilēttuma nāṭi as well as maraṇa nāṭi, the state of pulse which indicates the death, and provides formulation of medicines for rectifying it. The medicinal formulations are: decoctions (kacāyam) for treating fever (curam) caused by vāta and pitta imbalances, mēka nōy (urinary tract infection), and one decoction named Pāvu kaṣayam, as well as oil (tailam) for headache and one named Mañceṭṭiyāti tailam. Some additional medicines are also mentioned to treat troubles such as general fevers (curam), those of children and a category of fever called uṭal cūṭu; intestinal worms (kirumi); eye disease (kaṇ cukkiraṉ); and eczema (karappāṉ). The two additional leaves describe the preparation of vaciya mai, a black paste for mesmerising people. 1Size of the manuscript 17,3cm x 3,0cm.
