Title in original script: பிரம்மமுனி வைத்தியம் The manuscript contains an incomplete text of 95 palm leaves numbered from 1 to 110. Apart two leaves which are broken, the manuscript is in excellent condition. The text, entitled Piramamuṉi Vaittiyam, is written in verses. This text deals with preparation of medicines. The name of mentioned formulas are: Mukkūṭṭu tailam, Viṣamuṣṭi tailam and Navāccāra tailam; Mēka rācāṅka eṇṇai and Cutta vallāti eṇṇai; Makāmēka kirutam; Cēṅkoṭṭai vallāti; Caṇṭamāruta kuḻampu and Vilvāti kuḻampu; Kumaṭṭikāy pataṅkam and Paṟaṅkipaṭṭai pataṅkam; Ātātōṭai lēkiyam, Cintāti lēkiyam, Kaṭukāy lēkiyam and Iñci lēkiyam; Nilavākai cūraņam, Civaṉvēmpu cūraņam, Amukarā cūraṇam and Naṟkarantai cūraņam; Amirtāti uṇṭai; Curāṅkica māttirai; Caṇṭamāruta kuṭōri; Ciṅki paṟpam; and Apiraka centūram. The text informs also on the medical propriety of some medicines such as Kastūri eṇṇei (medicated oil including musk) for treating for urinary tract infections (mēkam), a tailam (medicated oil) against pīṉicam (sinusitis), a kaḷimpu (ointment) for treating ārāta puṇ ( resistant ulcer), as well as on different types of adjuvants for increasing efficiency (aṉupāṉa vakaikaḷ), medicinal oils and snuffings (tailam maṟṟum ākkirāṇam). Size of the manuscript 24,0cm x 3,0cm. The text is numbered in Tamil and Arabic from 1 to 110. The manuscript is incomplete but in excellent condition. The palm leaves 4to 9; 50; 51; 93 to 96 and 105 to 107 are missing.
