Titles in original script: நூல் 1: சுப்பிரமணியர் ஞானம்- 500 நூல் 2: மருந்து செய்முறைகள்; The manuscript is composed of two texts written in verses, one being attributed to Cuppiramaṇiyar. The two texts are separated with a leaf on which astrological diagrams are drawn. Text 1 consists of 500 verses written on 65 leaves numbered from 1 to 65; it is complete. The text is a complexe combination of various subjects related to esoteriscism and alchemy, including physiology, yoga and magic. Concerning the physiology, the text explains the structure of body and function of the diverse parts. The text brings many information on yoga practice, different methods of meditation, notably transcendental meditation, and on the way to attain salvation and wisdom, especiqlly by ingestion of plants that the text lists. It describes some ascetic posture such as mūlātāra cakti (mūla kuṇṭali) and lists the fifty-one letters (aṭcaraṅkaḷ) used for attaining salvation. The subject of religion is approached by informing on the initiation of Parācakti, explaining the five powers (pañca cakti ) and the pañca cakti pūjā, importance to light lamps with ghī (clarified butter) in temples, method of doing cakara pūjā and the appropriate method and mantra (upatēcam) for worshipping Lord Kaṇapati and Lord Civa (Paramaciva), as well as the spiritual experience of feeling Lord Civa (Civayokam). The text defines fake saints. It exposes the knowledge of the eight types of witchcraft (aṣṭa karma vittai). The medicinal preparations presented in the text are complex and used alchemical processes such as for preparations based on muppu; certain are considered as panacea. There are: Civaṉār vempu kacayam and Kiṟutam, Navalōka centūram, Pañca cati cuṇṇam, Muppu cuṇṇam, Vilva vēr kiṟutam, Arukam vēr kiṟutam, Āti uppu, Muppu perumai, Valārai kaṟpam, Kumara kaṟpam and Ñāṉa kaṟpam. Text 2 is formed of 10 leaves numbered from 1 to 10; it is in excellent condition but is not complete. The text concerns preparation of complex medicines, notably Kantaka tailam, Taṅka paṟpam, Tāmpira paṟpam, Veḷḷi paṟpam, Nākka kaṭṭu, Cāra kaṭṭu, Liṅka kaṭṭu, Kaluppu kaṭṭu, Pācāṉa kaṭṭu, Cūta kaṭṭu and Cavīra vaippu. Size of the manuscript 24,5cm x 3,6cm. The text 1 is numbered in Tamil and Arabic from 1 to 65. Each leaf contain 26 lines. The leaf 59 is damaged. The text 2 is numbered in Tamil and Arabic from 1 to 10, it is incomplete.
