Size of the manuscript 15,6cm x 3,7cm. The palm leaves of the text are numbered from 1 to 57 in Tamil and Arab; the leaves 22 to 30 are missing. There is a blank leaf at the beginning of the text. The manuscript is in excellent condition. Text 1: The text, entitled Cūtikar Maṇi, is composed of palm leaves numbered from 1 to 21. It describes preparation of Cātikkāy kuḻampu and medicines to facilitate delivery (vayiṟu paḻuttāl) and to provoke it notably when the fetus is not ready to go out (piḷḷai talai kāṇāviṭāl), to expel placenta (nañcu veḷiyēṟa), to remove retained placenta (utira keṭṭu pōka) and to expel a dead fetus (iṟanta piḷḷai piṟakka), as well as to stop secretion of milk (pāl vaṟṟa). It provides the preparation of a type of gruel (kañci) consumed after delivery. Additionally, it presents the clinical features of bronchial asthma (cuvāca kācam) and mentions medicines (maruntu) to treat gastritis (kuṉma kaṭṭu) and dysentery (kaḻiccal). Text 2: The text, entitled Ūḻi Nōy Nitāṉam (ūḻi nōykaḷ = epidemic diseases), is formed of palm leaves numbered from 31 to 57. It presents the clinical features of cholera (kompaṉ nōy) and informs on the clinical features and formulas related to the types of cholera called nīr kompaṉ, muṟi kompaṉ and ceṅkompaṉ.
