Naisadha Carita

Naisadha Carita is a poem in Sanskrit on the life of Nala, the King of Nishadha. It is written by Sriharsha, a twelfth century poet, and considered one of the five great epic poems in the canon of Sanskrit literature. The other four great epics in the Sanskrit literary canons include Raghuvamsha (Kalidasa), Kumarasamvbhava (Kalidasa), Kiratarjunia (Bharavi) and Shishupala Vadha (Magha). This manuscript is in Sanskrit and Pracalit Newari script. This manuscript was written in Nepal Samvat 778 (1668 CE). Its size is 30X7 CMs. 1658 CE Extent: Folios: 107.
