Atmabodha

This manuscript is Atmabodha. It is a short Sanskrit text attributed to Adi Shankara of Advaita Vedanta school of Hindu philosophy. The text in sixty-eight verses describes the path to Self-knowledge or the awareness of Atman. The authorship of Ātma-bōdha is written in Sanskrit language. It is traditionally ascribed to Adi Shankara who is believed to have lived in the 8th century A.D. Even though the authenticity of this work is doubted by present day scholars, it does not contradict the Advaita system which it advocates. It describes the way to the attainment of the knowledge of the Atman. Adi Shankaracharya is the author of this text. This manuscript is in sanskrit and written with Devanagari script. It is in good condition. Its folio size is 22.5X10.5 CMs. Extent: Folios: 6.
