This volume contains letters received by the Governor of Sierra Leone from the Secretary of State for War and the Colonies between 5 January and 26 December 1831. It includes an index of nine pages that lists the number of the letter, the date, the sender, the subject, how it was disposed of, and remarks. The letters concern the management and administration of the Colony. The volume is bound in blue cloth boards. There is some water damage to pages, and some damage from iron gall.
