This volume contains letters received by the Lieutenant Governor of Sierra Leone from the Secretary of State for War and the Colonies between 28 January 1830 and 30 December 1830. It includes an index of nine pages that lists the number of the letter, the date, the sender, the subject, how it was disposed of, and remarks. The letters concern the management and administration of the Colony, including the Civil Establishment and Liberated African Department. The volume is bound in blue cloth boards. There is some water damage to pages, and some damage from iron gall.
