This volume contains letters written by the Governor of Sierra Leone to the Secretary of State for War and the Colonies between 14 January 1826 and 10 June 1827. It includes an index of despatches, providing information on where they were written, the dates, by whom, as well as the number of enclosures. It also gives the general purpose of each despatch. The volume sometimes includes enclosures. The volume is bound in red cloth boards. There is extensive water damage, some traces of mould, as well as damage from iron gall.
