It is a minor Upaniṣad. This Upaniṣad belongs to the Atharvaveda. It is a Śaiva Upaniṣad, which deals with the methods of worshipping Śiva, such as wearing Vibhūti, the holy ash, and Rudrākṣas, the holy beads. It is presented in the form of a dialogue between Śiva and Bhusuṇḍi, his devotee. Extent and format of original and physical characteristics: 26 Folios; Complete MS.; Extremely fragile.
