Agreement by Jādū Kaṭhāyet to adopt Ṣardār Gayālāl's son in Jumla

In the document Jādū Kaṭhāyet from Chīnāsīṃ village, Asi Darā in Jumla, agrees to be foster parent to Kāle--Gayālāl’s son by Subhadarī, a wife he took in Jumla. Apparently Gayālāl had four children— one son and three daughters from her. Document lists the land, gold and silver, livestock, utensils, carpet, mattress etc that Jādū Kaṭhāyet pledges to retrieve from Subhadarī, who had eloped with someone else. See 168.
