သီဟဠသန္ဒေသကထာအနက်

A message sent to Laṅkā describing the ordination of Sinhalese novices at Amarapura in 1801 and promoting contemporary Burmese ideas about proper dress for monks and novices. The message was composed on the fifteenth day of the waning moon of Kahson, 1163 [1801] and the translation was completed on the tenth day of the waxing moon of Wazo, 1165 [1803]. Extent and format of original material: 1 fascicle of 22 inscribed folios. Physical characteristics: Folios kho and khoʻ have margins chipped off.
