ကထိန်အမေး

The discussion of requirements for eligibility for kaṭhina priviledges. Written in versified prose and in a form of series of detailed and very specific questions and answers. The contents of this fascicle represent the questions. The answers for these questions were provided in the manuscript WL-HL-NKB 074 [BAB-KMS00047] or a very similar one. It is possible that originally both fascicles WL-HL-NKB 074 and WL-HL-NKB 148 were parts of the same manuscript owned by the abbot of the Wazo-kyaung monastery in Halin. At some later point in their life, these fascicles were separated and owned by monks from different monasteries (as indicated by ownership notes on respective manuscripts). Finally, both fascicles WL-HL-NKB 074 and WL-HL-NKB 148 became parts of the same collection again when they both were brought to the Nyaungkobin-kyaung monastery. Extent and format of original material: Part of the fascicle comprised of 5 (4 + 1/6) inscribed folios. Owner(s) of original material: Vā chui kyoṅʻʺ, (later) Ññoṅʻ kuiʺ paṅʻ [kyoṅʻʺ]. Author(s) of original material: Narindābhidhaja atuladhipatisīripavara mahādhammarājādhirājaguru (Narinda), Chīʺ panʺ nī Charā toʻ.
