The first part of a short version of the Mahāparitta nissaya, a bilingual translation of a collection of eleven protective and liturgical texts, likely intended for memorization by schoolboys. The authorship of this nissaya has not been thoroughly investigated yet. This manuscript omits Maṅgala-sutta and contains translation of the introduction, Ratana-sutta, Mettā-sutta, Vaṭṭa-paritta and Khandha-paritta. Extent and format of original material: 1 fascicle of 6 folios. Physical characteristics: Incomplete, folio ka and the right side of the original folio kū missing.
