A bilingual translation of the Mahā-ummagga jātaka (jātaka no. 546) which forms a part of the set of nissayas of the ten major jātakas produced by Upāli. Upāli's set completed in 1535 or 1536 appears to be the earliest of surviving nissayas of the Dasajātaka collection or, in fact, of any jātakas. Copying completed on December 28, 1741 or January 7, 1752. Extent and format of original material: 1 bundle of 300 inscribed and 4 uninscribed folios.
