Wooden Box: Tengam (Wylie rten sgam) རྟེན་སྒམ Late 19th / Early 20th century

A superb old wooden box, with ornate detail on the two doors as well as detailing around the two iron strap holders on the sides. 360 x 420 x 287mm. One Wooden Box.

The material is owned by Kinzum Gatuk and her husband Padma Dorje and has been handed down from father to son and to daughter through several generations of head Buchen. All the materials in the archive are kept within the prayer room of the house. This was not properly seen: materials were brought out in order to be documented.
