Mäshafä mestirä sämay wä-medr - The Book of Mysteries of Heaven and Earth [1600-1799]

Manuscript is in quite bad condition. The bookblock - deformed, shrunken on all margins due to water damage. All folios are dusty on all surface. A strong brown water stains on all margins are visible. The glass-like layer, as an effect of gelatinization process of the parchment, can be observed. Especially damaged are first and last folios, which edges are very weak, brittle, shrunken and in dark-brown colour. The sewing of the book is very weak. The binding - very dirty bare wooden boards.
