About Po Kuk and Po Awluah

Cham manuscript made of paper bound into volume with threads. The covers are made of stiff paper. The outside of the front cover has a drawing of a sea dragon (Garut); the inside of the cover has a drawing of Nuh Tapang (the amulet image typically put on the chest of the dead on cremation day). The back cover has a drawing of Cim Heng (the image of Dragon Bird on funeral rituals of Brahminical Cham people). The inside of the back cover has drawings of deer. The margins are torn and have many wrinkles. The contents are written with India ink on folded thin paper in Akhar Tuer language. The manuscript covers legends. Contents: about Po Kuk and Po Awluah. Size: 33 x 2 x 15 cm.

This manuscript was left by ancestors. Previously, the manuscript was saved by brother - in - law. The manuscript was transfered to Mr. Tapah Thuong Xuan Huu in 1973. Author is unknown.
