Nangsue Ha Mue Hai Mue Di (Manuscript used to find inauspicious and auspicious days) (ໜັງສືຫາມື້ຮ້າຍມື້ດີ) (1918)

This leporello manuscript is written with black ink on greyish khòi paper. This text, written in Tham-Lao script, is about many topics such as magic formulas, the reckoning of time, various kind of traditional medicine, divination. The manuscript contains several paintings, such as that of animals, human beings in different positions and engaged in different activities (related to their year of birth); magical diagrams, marginal notes but only a very colophon (last page), “just to that point”.
