Description: Casabamba is a locality in the northeast of the Argentine province of Córdoba. Its name comes from the story that a man, Bamba, pertaining to the original people in Argentina eloped with an aristocratic Spanish woman and established their home on the river Suquía that runs by Casa Bamba. The train that runs through the montains arrived in 1891 and taking advantage of a certain Mr. Joseph Oulton built the first power station in Argentina in the 1890s.
